Howdy! I’m Hazel (she/they). I’m a Licensed Electrologist and owner of The Current. Dreams of The Current began in 2023 when I realized there was a need for more electrologists in the LGBTQ+ community. The few electrologists in PDX at the time were not accepting new clients as they had extensive waitlists. I wanted folks with unwanted hair to have easier access to treatment, so I completed a 600 hour electrology training program at West Coast Electrolysis in 2024 and I opened The Current in 2025.

As much as I enjoy permanently removing hair, I also love music, art and design, vintage goodies, cats, yoga, plants and nature.
